​Jenni-Kate DeShon

Jenni-Kate was born and raised in Chicago, IL. The moment she learned to walk she was given a pair of ballet shoes and spent most of her childhood and teen years either studying dance OR hiding behind a sketchbook. Jenni-Kate’s only escape from her natural shyness was the arts, but it wasn’t until she was introduced to musical theater that she really found a place to call home. Her first musical, “Peterpan,” (Which happens to be her favorite story of all time) propelled her into the musical theater world! Several roles later and after graduating high school, she packed a suitcase and headed to NYC to study musical theatre at “The American Musical and Dramatics Academy.” After AMDA she spent a year on tour with Nick Jr. as a dancer/puppeteer and upon returning to NYC she continued working as an actress; appearing in over twenty national commercials, Industrials, Music Videos, and Independent Films. Her recent credits include "How I Met Your Mother" and the short film "Sequin Raze." She has also been a dancer/performer for Universal and Disney. Jenni-Kate currently splits her time between Los Angeles and New York.
